Phrasebook allows users to upload phrases for translation, Translators can add translations for each phrase - in multiple languages - from the Translations page.
Only Translators can translate missing Phrases.
Translate phrases from your Process Library in Phrasebook from the Translations page of Phrasebook:
- Click on the Translations menu option in the My Phrasebook section of the menu on the left hand side of your screen.
- Use the Filters box on the left hand-side of the screen to filter by: the language you would like to translate to, the Source Reference or to Search for a particular word or phrase.
- To search for a phrase or to translate type a word or phrase into the search bar and click the search icon next to it. The search results will be displayed to the right of the Search Filters box.
- To search for a Source Reference type a source reference into the Source Reference search bar and click the search icon next to it. The results will be displayed to the right of the Search Filters box.
Not all phrases will have a Source Reference (this is an optional field when uploading phrase sets) so searching on this may not return any results.
- To filter by the language you would like to translate to click on the Missing Translations dropdown and select the language you wish to view the missing translations for. The results will automatically be displayed to the right of the Search Filters box.
Click the Reset button to remove the filters and display all the phrase sets.
- Once you have located the phrase you would like to translate click on the + New Translation button.
- Type the translation into the text box, click the tick to add your translation. To cancel adding your translation click the X.
You can use the language dropdown next to the Translation text box to change the translation language.
- The Translation text and language will display in a table below the original phrase.
