Bulk Update Properties

Bulk Update your processes' properties from the Process Maps list using the Find and Replace Function.

Admins can update the same property value in multiple process maps using the Find and Replace Function. This is useful for updating properties such as Job Role, Responsible Person and ISO Clauses in bulk when something has changed. 

Admins can update properties in bulk from the 'Process Maps' list:

• Click Find and Replace in the top right hand corner.
  
• Select the Process Maps, using the boxes on the left, with properties you wish to update, then click Continue Find and Replace. 
  
  
• Select the Property you would like to Find and Replace from the 'Property' dropdown list.
• Enter the property value you would like to replace in the 'Find' box. If the property is a dropdown type, select your property value from the drop-down list, if it is a different property type you can type the property value you would like to replace into the box. The number of processes affected by this change will be displayed in the bottom left of the pop-up box. 
  
  
• Alternatively, you can choose to replace only blank values  (to quickly populate multiple properties) or if you would like to replace all values (to update multiple properties) by ticking the relevant checkbox.
  
• Enter the new property value in the 'Replace with' box. If the property is a dropdown type, select your new property value from the drop-down list, if it is a different property type you can type the new property value into the box.
  
• Select if you would like to update Drafts only, Drafts & Live (via Draft) - this will create a draft of all live process maps with the updated property value which need to be approved before they can go live - or Drafts & Live (via Overwrite) - this will immediately update all live process maps with the property value.
  
• Click Find & Replace to update your property values.
