Connect your Process Library to a master Process Library from the Content Parcel page
Organisations can set up multiple Process Librarys with one central master Process Library and multiple regional Process Librarys connected to it. This means your organisationals core process - such as HR and Finance processes - can be automatically published and updated on all the regional Process Librarys while processes which are only relevant to one set of the business will remain on individual regional Process Librarys, ensuring all your processes remain relevant and secure.
As standard, only Admins can set up and manage multiple Process Librarys.
- First create a master library by setting up a Process Library with your organisation's core processes, then set up as many regional library's as your organisation requires.
- To publish core processes to your regional library login to one of your regional library's and click on the Content Parcels menu option in the Library Content section of the menu on the left hand side of your screen. This will take you to the Content Parcels page.
- Click on the button in the top right hand corner to Swap to Private Feed, this will display all the library's you are an admin in.
If you cannot see your master library ensure you are an admin and try again.
- Click the View button next to your master library (the Process Library you would like to import your core processes from).
- Select ''Automatically import content parcels?" to link to your master Process Library and import all your core processes and updates.
- Choose if you would like to import the process maps as drafts, translate the maps and automatically invite process map authors.
If you do not choose to automatically invite process map authors then you will automatically be set as the author for the imported process maps.
- Click Import to link to your master Process Library. This will import your core process maps and update the process maps as they are updated in your master Process library.
- Once your import is complete you will be taken to an 'import complete' screen which will display any issues with the import, for example if processes need to be skipped due to naming conflicts.
