Export Inputs

Users can Export inputs using the export button.

When you are managing a project or process, you often need data to track how progress, what has been done and what needs to be done. In ATC you can export inputs to Excel to create tables, graphs and reports with this data. 

Users can export all inputs, a segment of inputs or individual inputs into Excel, by clicking the Export button. 

Inputs can only be exported to Excel.

To Export multiple inputs:

  • Click on the Inputs menu option found at the top right-hand side of the screen.

  • By default the input's List View will display.

Inputs can only be Exported from the List View, not the Board View. 

  • Use the Search Filters on the left-hand side of the screen to segment your inputs if required. 

  • Once only the inputs you want to export are displayed click the Export button in the top right hard corner of your screen. 

  • Untitled design (13)-1This will automatically download the inputs displayed to an excel file. 
  • The file will be named automatically with the date you export on, it will follow the convention of: inputs_export_d(d)_m(m)_yyyy.
  • The excel file will contain two sheets, one named 'Information' and the other named after the crowd.
  • The 'information' sheet displays who the inputs were exported by, the crowd name, the date exported, the number of inputs exported and the number not exported. 

Any inputs that you do not have permission to view will not be exported for security reasons. 

  • The crowd name sheet contains the inputs exported and displays their input ID, parent ID, title, description, owner, topic, who it is assigned to, release, lifecycle, stage, net votes, total votes, date submitted and URL. 

To Export an individual input:

  • Click on the Inputs menu option found at the top right-hand side of the screen.
  • By default the input's List View will display.

  • Select the input you want to export, using the Search Filters on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Click on this input's title - this will take you to the input detail screen.
  • Click the Export button in the top right hard corner of your screen.
